Priscilla: Today I ate two lovely hot banana muffins that Alexander made with his Mommy! He did the mixing on them and was ever so proud! They were delicious, small and Fiber One!
Priscilla: Skunk Update! We moved everything out of the apartment and in the basement, there was no trace...or smell...of the skunks! Hopefully they won't follow us to our new place! Wendy, send your mom down anyway...I MISS YOU GUYS!

Priscilla: UPDATE ON MY WEIGHT! Today at weigh in I had lost 3.4 pounds last week and now weigh 336.2 pounds and I'm feeling GREAT!!!

ms: After losing 6lbs giving up sweets, last night at 11:pm ate 3 oatmeal creme cookies & 2 sundae ice cream cones! Why?

Gracie: Congrats on your weight loss Priscilla!! 2 years ago I joined weight watchers and didne continue, but I still had all the books and point chart, etc., so I begin counting points this week myself! I am going to try your easy to make ice cream soon as I have gone shopping...lol. Have you tried the DelMonte Fruit Chillers yet? They are in your canned fruit section, there are 4 flavors, and they are 3 pts. each. Buy em, freeze em...enjoy em! They are a frozen fruit sorbet and are wonderful!!!! S
Gracie: Are you moving over to the new Yahoo site with us?? It's pretty bland and boring there right now, but we are hopeful Yahoo might spice it up soon! 360 is shutting down tommorrow (Mon.) Kind of sad....it was a nice outlet. I think I may lose half my friends there though. :-( I have sent invites to ALL of them (inc. you) but only have half of them moved there.
Gracie: Yay!!!!! So happy for you & Morton, on the upcoming move!! A house is soooo much nicer then an apt.! OMG..I am a packrat too...lol. In fact, I just now came home from an estate auction with some wonderful treasures that I so did NOT need!! My kids keep saying..."with all your "junk" Mom...one day we will be RICH!!" lol. Darn kids..lol. So...will you be moved by the time Mortons parents arrive?? Or...have they arrived already??
Menomamma: Hi, We have about a quarter of an acre planted this year, we too are trying to eat healthier, and grow our own food. We just got a warning about my husband's health and he is making some major changes in his lifestyle and I along with him will be eating healthier too! Our strawberries were late this year but sweet. We have 245 Sweet Potato plants, beans, tomatoes, zucchini, and corn! Happy Summer!
Priscilla: Today's weight...358.2 pounds. I lost 2.8 pounds last week and I'm SO HAPPY about it!Woohoo :)

Angela Meadows: Thank you for sharing your story. I'm wish you the best of luck in all you wish to do. Cutting trees really helps with fat lose. I cut wood all winter and lost over 40 lbs. I have since valentines put on about 15lbs more. God bless you in your efforts to shed away the years. One day we will not have to work at exposing the real us. It will be instantaneous. Keep up the good work on the blog and the weight loss! You encourage me and others as I can see!

cindyrella: Hi! Before I go to work, I try to walk on my treadmill at least 10 minutes, then do more in the evening or go to the gym after work, but that 10 minutes really pumps me up and gives me alot of energy. When I don't walk that 10 minutes, I notice I'm very sluggish and tired at work!!!!

Public figures are people too

Today has been a real eye-opener to just how fleeting our lives are.  Two very public figures, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett both passed away today.  One was unexpected, one was very unexpected.

After a day spent in the garden, enjoying time with my grandchildren and eating 100% right, I turned on the television to find out that the only thing we can be sure of in life (which is death) still takes us all by surprise.

This is a big wake up call to not wait one more second for making your life count.  Do not think it is too late to follow your dreams, or like me for decades, just not caring enough about myself to take care of myself.  You need and I need, to wake up and enjoy our lives right at this moment.

Blink and it is over people...do not take anything for granted, love the ones you are lucky enough to have in your life and chase your dreams.
